Hi, I'm Martin Evans, a remote session drummer and MIDI drums specialist. I work from my home studio in Philadelphia, collaborating with bands, solo artists, and producers worldwide. I offer organic and tasteful drum parts delivered as MIDI files and studio-quality multitrack audio.

As a player, I'm tasteful and sensitive with great ears. I consider myself a song drummer, and my aim is always to just play the music and let the song breathe. While my roots are in Rock and Pop, I'm versatile and comfortable across most genres. However, I ask that you check with me first, as I don't want to waste your time or money if I don't think I'm a fit for your project.

To maintain the human element, I record everything I do live using a Roland V-Drum kit. I have many sample libraries to work with but mainly rely on kits from Superior Drummer 3 and its expansions. As to my ears, they're the closest to the real thing out there. Having access to kits recorded in some of the best rooms in the world is where I believe the true value lies with MIDI drums. I also have Steven Slate Drums, EZDrummer 3, Addictive Drums 2, amongst others, as well as a whole host of various kit samples I've collected over the years.

I don't believe in limited revisions, so we'll work until you're happy and the final files can be delivered in whatever format you require. For multitrack audio, the amount of tracks depends on the library used, and I can provide it as either a complete set or a simpler mix-ready set.
